There’s something truly magical about a hometown show, and Lakeview made sure everyone felt it the second they pulled up to the Roxian. The entire night was a full-blown Pittsburgh party! This stop marked one of the biggest nights on the Blue Collar Country Tour, a fitting homecoming for a duo that has proudly worn their yinzer roots on their sleeves since the very beginning. Before doors even opened, fans were gathered outside for a tailgate that could have doubled as a county fair, complete with cornhole, face painting, a pop-up barbershop, and even a monster truck parked out front. Inside, anticipation buzzed like an engine before ignition, the crowd ready to celebrate their city’s own.

Brandon Wisham kicked off the night with nothing but an acoustic guitar and an easy charm that instantly drew the crowd in. His stripped-down set highlighted his raw vocals and down-to-earth lyrics, the kind that make you feel like you are sitting around a backyard fire swapping stories. Without a full band, there was no flash or distraction, just heartfelt country songs sung with genuine soul.

Max Alan followed, bringing a completely different energy to the stage. Earlier this year, he played a solo acoustic set opening for Palmyra at the Crafthouse, but this time he came ready for a full-band throwdown. The additions gave his songs new life, with riffs that filled the room and rhythms that had people swaying shoulder to shoulder. Max commanded the stage with confidence, his smooth vocals cutting clean through the mix while the band behind him added punch and polish. He played several songs from his 2025 EP Beneath The Hood, including “Sky Blue,” which has so much charm to it and feels like pure 90’s country. Max’s growth as a performer was clear, and by the end of his set, the crowd responded with well-earned cheers that echoed through the Roxian.

Then came Trey Lewis, whose larger-than-life personality could barely be contained on the Roxian stage. From the moment he stepped out, he had the audience laughing, hollering, and fully living in the moment. His voice carried that gritty Southern drawl that makes every lyric feel like a barroom confession, and his unpredictable shenanigans kept things loose and fun. Trey balanced humor and heart with ease, shifting from rowdy anthems to more reflective moments that showed off his versatility. Every song came with a wink and a smile, and by the time he walked off, he had left the crowd primed and buzzing for Lakeview.

When Lakeview finally hit the stage, the energy inside the Roxian exploded. This was their night, their city, their people, and they played like they knew it. The duo of Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy came out swinging, launching straight into a string of high-energy tracks that set the tone for the rest of the show. Their blend of country grit and rock attitude hit perfectly, fueled by pounding drums, slick guitar work, and vocals that carried both power and emotion. Every lyric about hard work, small towns, and hometown pride hit harder in Pittsburgh, and fans responded with hands in the air and voices raised high.

The set pulled heavily from their debut self-titled album which dropped last year, and hearing those songs live gave them an entirely new edge.”Money Where My Mouth Is” and “Neon Nightmare” had the crowd bouncing in rhythm, while the slower “By Now” showed off the duo’s range and storytelling chops. “Wrong Side of the Track” was definitely a favourite for many, the catchy chorus packing an extra heavy punch with the hometown crowd. An incredibly powerful cover of Hinder’s “Lips of an Angel” became a massive singalong, voices all mixing together to for a beautiful Yinzer choir. Between songs, they shared stories from the road and reflected on what it meant to come home after such a big year. It felt personal and real, the kind of show where everyone in the room was part of something bigger than just a performance.

To close out the night, Lakeview brought the entire place to its feet with a finale that felt like a victory lap. They gave every ounce of energy left on stage, guitars roaring, vocals soaring loud and proud. The crowd screamed every lyric back, and it was obvious how much the moment meant to both the band and their fans. There was no doubt that Lakeview had not only come home, but they had taken over. The Blue Collar Country Tour may be rolling across the map, but for one unforgettable night, all roads led straight back to Pittsburgh.
