Opening for Father John Misty at the Roxian was singer/songwriter Loren Kramar. Kramar is, above all else, an artist, and each of his works brings a unique experience. With an alternative/indie style, Kramar creates smooth, melodic music that should be felt as much as it is heard.
As soon as Kramar stepped out onto stage, it was clear we would be in for a good show. Wearing flowing clothes and a wonderful blue heart necklace, it was easy to instantly love Kramar before he even started singing. Later in his set, Kramar asked the crowd if they loved his necklace, and stated that it loves them. His look combined with the soft lighting perfectly mirrored the soft and flowy music, the type of music that you can just close your eyes and vibe to. And that’s what the whole band was doing, just vibing and enjoying playing some good music. Towards the end of the set it got a little heavier, which spiced up the show and added an extra layer of excitement. The entire show was such a mood, as was Kramar. He drew all eyes on him with every movement and was absolutely captivating from start to end.
